Jerry Fosu founded Sankofa Construction in 2012 and brings more than 20 years in the trade. A Newark native of Ghanaian heritage, he trained through the Job Corps Program and the International Masonry Institute, and authored the carpentry textbook series behind Sankofa's USDOL Registered Apprenticeship.

Thuo Wambugu brings three decades of experience in community development, real estate and finance. Born and raised in Kenya and now based in New Jersey, he owns Simba Real Estate Solutions, LLC and holds a Mini MBA from Rutgers University.

Danielle Pinckney leads finance, construction operations, safety and apprenticeship training at Sankofa. She holds an MBA and a certificate in Operations Management, has completed studies at Harvard University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration.

Frederick Asante a Certified Mechanical Enigineer leads Sankofa's Smart Home Technology and Innovation division — smart home systems, AI integration and connected living across the company's residential and commercial projects, and in its apprenticeship training.

Kevin Jefferson is an electrician and small business owner with 10 years in the electrical trade and 27 years running his own construction business. He helped launch Sankofa's apprenticeship school and opens trade careers to Plainfield youth.

Zachary Osolo leads Sankofa's policy, grants and public agency work. He brings eight years across humanitarian response, banking and public policy in the United States and Kenya, and holds graduate credentials from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
