Founder & CEO
Jerry Fosu
Jerry Fosu founded Sankofa Construction in 2012 and brings more than 20 years in the trade. A Newark native of Ghanaian heritage, he trained through the Job Corps Program and the International Masonry Institute, and authored the carpentry textbook series behind Sankofa's USDOL Registered Apprenticeship.

Thuo Wambugu
Thuo Wambugu brings three decades of experience in community development, real estate and finance. Born and raised in Kenya and now based in New Jersey, he owns Simba Real Estate Solutions, LLC and holds a Mini MBA from Rutgers University.

Danielle Pinckney
Danielle Pinckney leads finance, construction operations, safety and apprenticeship training at Sankofa. She holds an MBA and a certificate in Operations Management, has completed studies at Harvard University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration.
