JERRY A. FOSU
Founder & CEO
Jerry Fosu first conceptualized Sankofa Builders and the subdivision Sankofa Construction LLC in March 2008 when he realized there was a high need for African American General Constructors in the Essex and Union County area. Using his training and experience in concrete, carpentry, brick laying, etc., Mr. Fosu started to offer services to neighboring homeowners. In 2012, he incorporated as Sankofa Construction LLC and hired local community members as laborers. His vision was and continues to be building for the community by the community.
